Store Policies
All items on the web site are available for purchase. They will be indicated by "in stock" or "out of stock". We are a "Service on Demand" online retail store and provide you with the service of obtaining the item you need. We have access to our distributors inventory database in real time however we may not guarantee the availability of an item even if our website shows it "in stock". Final confirmation of availability is given to us by our warehouse.
Once your order has been placed with a valid form of payment, Hockey Galore.Com considers this as a binding contract therefore we assume that you are serious about the purchase and will:
- Ship the item immediately if it is available in stock or, (note that it may take 24 to 48 hours to process your order)
- Place the order through our distributors/manufacturers if it is a custom order. Once we have placed our order we cannot reverse the process as Hockey Galore.Com will be charged for restocking and shipping fees. These fees will be passed on to you regardless if you have or have not received the item and decided to cancel. Please be sure to specify a DATE if you require the equipment urgently. Custom orders such as painted goalie masks are 100% non-refundable.
- If the item you ordered is not available at the distributor/manufacturer, and they have NO DATE available (item is Back ordered),you will be notified by email what the expected date of arrival is and be given an option for an equivalent item from a different brand or to wait for the item in question. At this point, you may cancel your order if you wish. A Back Ordered item could mean a delay of several weeks.
- Cancellation of a back ordered item after the customer has agreed to the delayed date will incur a 5% processing fee.
Canadian Orders on our US website HockeyGalore.Com
HockeyGalore.Com is now accepting orders from Canada. Orders will be shipped from our warehouse in California directly to our head office in Canada, HockeyGalore.Ca. The product will then be shipped to your address in Canada. All items will be shipped via USPS. The products cost indicated in USD will be charged in the equivalent amount but in CAD funds. When possible, duties will be avoided since products are being shipped via regular mail. Larger items not accepted by the US postal service may need to be shipped via courier service which are usually prone to duties at customs. Due to the complexity of the logistics for Canadian orders, Refunds or Exchanges will NOT be possible. Please make sure that you are ordering the correct product (i.e: Color, Size etc.. ) before placing your order. If you are in doubt, please give us a call.
Restocking and processing fees will be applied without exceptions
All items go through quality control before being sent to the customer therefore, claiming that the item was defective is ruled out. Please see below for our " Damaged shipments" policy.
No return or exchange will be granted after 7 days from the date your item was received.
Credit Card and Payment Fraud
Credit card or any other form of payment fraud including falsification of names and addresses is taken very seriously and all attempts of this sort will be investigated by Hockey Galore.Com and will be handed over to your local area authorities for thorough investigation and prosecution at its fullest extent of the law.
International orders and Credit Card payments
For ALL International orders, Hockey Galore.Com will require proof of residency. You will need to fax the front and back of your card at 514-457-2313.
PAYPAL PAYMENTS
Payments made via paypal which have UNCONFIRMED addresses and that are INELIGIBLE for seller protection will be refunded back to you and the order canceled. You must call us back with a credit card payment.
We do not accept International Paypal payments.
Warranty
Items under warranty must be returned at the customers expense to the address provided by Hockey Galore.Com and must also cover shipping expenses when the item has been replaced by the manufacturer. We will let you know if the item must be returned to us or directly to the manufacturer.
Accuracy of information on Product description, Graphics & Manufacturers inline changes
Hockey Galore may publish certain graphics and descriptions of items as they are at that given time. We however, cannot control manufacturers internal policies when it comes to changing the look or description. Therefore certain items displayed on this web page may differ from the actual product, but the quality will be equivalent or better. Hockey Galore is not responsible for refunds and exchanges based on a manufacturers internal policy changes. Hockey Galore.Com will not be liable for any manufacturers published errors or inline changes. Example: A hockey stick is labeled Iginla in the catalog however the actual product is labeled Forsberg.

Please note: All sales on Clearance and Closeout items are final. We will not accept any returns or exchanges on any of these items. All clearance items are first come first serve, stock is not guaranteed.

Damaged Shipments
If you determine that the item was damaged during shipment, do not sign for the parcel and have the shipping company fill out a damage inspection report. Hockey Galore.Com is not responsible for damaged goods.
